Haryana man murders mother & her ‘lover’ after walking in on them; drives to police station with their bodies in sirsa

In a shocking and grim incident in Sikanderpur Thedi village of Sirsa district, Haryana, a 25-year-old man named Raj Kumar brutally murdered his mother, Angoori Devi, and her neighbour, Lekh Raj after walking in on them together in a private setting late at night.

According to police, the son unexpectedly returned home around 2 AM and saw his mother in a compromising situation with her neighbour. Driven by anger and suspicion, he strangled both his mother and her ‘lover’ with a piece of cloth, killing them inside the house. The violence stunned local residents when the news spread the following morning.

Instead of fleeing the scene, Raj Kumar then loaded both bodies into a pickup truck and drove directly to the Sirsa Sadar police station. There, he calmly surrendered to the police, handed over the bodies, and confessed to committing the murders, providing officials with details of what had transpired.

Police immediately took the bodies for post-mortem examination to the civil hospital mortuary and lodged a murder case against him. Investigations were underway to determine the motive and collect evidence. The incident has deeply disturbed the local community, drawing attention to issues of domestic violence and impulsive acts of rage.

This case highlights a rare but tragic instance where an accused not only committed a violent crime against family members but also brought the bodies to the authorities himself, leading to his immediate arrest.
